We provide community service hours to youth with school projects and we also participate in Humane Society Summer Camp Program.

Sweetwater Springs Water District (SSWD) was formed on December 15, 1988, after a public vote under County Water District Law (Water Code section 30000 et seq). The Board of Directors of SSWD consists of five (5) members elected at large from throughout the district. As the result of an election held in November of 1990 the district acquired the existing water supply system which serves Monte Rio, Guerneville and Rio Nido from Citizens Utilities Company.
